Jacklyn Marie was born and raised in the 'Big Easy', New Orleans, Louisiana. This colorful city has influenced her work and creativity. She is a self taught artist who has been drawing and painting all of her life and is known for her unique style by her collectors. She paints a variety styles and subjects from folk art to fantasy to realism. Her work has been sold in gift shops, online, and in art galleries. She has collectors in many different countries including the United States, Europe, Canada, and the Virgin Islands. The ultimate goal for her work is for her collectors to enjoy their pieces and find something in her work that stirs an emotion or even makes them smile with a happy memory. She recently spent a few weeks in Rome, Italy visiting the amazing art of the Masters! She has always loved and painted angels, but after this trip she is even more inspired! Since she also loves photography she will be offering some of the photos she took in the beautiful ancient city of Rome.
